Marriage Ceremony Booking

Welcome to the Dudley Council Registration Service ceremony booking system. A booking fee is required to complete this process. Fees can be seen at www.dudley.gov.uk. You must both be free to marry at the time of making your ceremony booking request.

You should visit our website before making a booking

This system will create a booking request for:

  • A basic statutory ceremony in the Register Office (the Superintendent's office) - couple and 2 witnesses
  • A classic or tailor-made ceremony in the Priory Suite at Priory Hall, Dudley - couple and up to 68 guests
  • A standard ceremony in Castle Suite at Priory Hall, Dudley - couple and up to 28 guests
  • A classic or tailor-made ceremony in the Wollescote Suite at the Thomas Robinson Building, Stourbridge - couple and up to 58 guests
  • Our attendance for a ceremony at an approved premise within the Dudley registration district (check with the venue for guest numbers and please ensure you have made a provisional booking with the venue before continuing)
  • Our attendance at a place of worship to register your marriage. (We are NOT required to attend Church of England marriages).

When we receive your booking request we will reply to you with a provisional booking email advising you what you need to do next. Once we have processed your provisional booking we cannot refund your booking fee. An administration fee is payable to make any amendments to a booking.

Bookings are confirmed once the legal notices have been given, which must be done as soon as possible and no later than 28 clear days before the ceremony and can be done up to 12 months in advance. You must both be free to marry at the time of making your ceremony booking request. We will retain your provisional booking for two months from the date it is booked to allow time for you to give notice. If you do not give notice within two months, it will be assumed that you no longer require the ceremony booking, we will cancel the reservation and make the date and time available for another couple to book.

PLEASE NOTE:  You should visit our website before making a booking for further information on your ceremony options, notice requirements and our full terms and conditions. By making a ceremony booking you are accepting our terms and conditions, please ensure that you read them fully before you make a ceremony booking. To make any changes to a booking will incur an administration fee. Booking fees are non-refundable and other refunds are issued in line with our terms and conditions. DO NOT book a ceremony if you are not both free to marry, if you are obtaining a divorce, you should not make a ceremony booking until the decree absolute or final order has been granted.

Priory Suite and Wollescote Suite ceremonies can be booked as either a classic ceremony, or for a more bespoke ceremony, as a tailor-made ceremony. Full details on tailor-made ceremonies can be found on our website. An additional fee is payable for a tailor-made ceremony. Only standard ceremonies are available in the Castle Suite.

If you are having a 3.30pm or 4pm ceremony in the Priory Suite or Wollescote Suite you can take advantage of our inclusive ceremony package that includes a celebration at Himley Hall following your ceremony at Priory Hall or Thomas Robinson Building. See our website for full details.
