Birth Registration Appointment

Birth appointments take place at Dudley Register Office (in Priory Hall), Stourbridge Registration Office (in the Thomas Robinson Building, Lye, Stourbridge), Coseley Family Hub (Bayer Street, Bilston) on Tuesdays and Stourbridge Family Hub (Forge Road, Stourbridge) on Wednesdays. Soonest available appointments are often at the Coseley Family Hub.

We cannot accept cash payments, all birth certificates must be paid for by card. You can do this when you book your appointment and will be able to collect the certificates when you register the birth. If you cannot pre-pay when you book your appointment please email register.office@dudley.gov.uk for assistance in booking an appointment. You will be able to apply online for certificates afterwards at www.dudley.gov.uk/certificates, this will incur an additional admin and processing charge. Please note that we cannot refund pre-paid for certificates, please order the correct quantity.

IMPORTANT - You must click confirm at the end of the process for your appointment to be booked

You do not need to bring your baby to the appointment. Only the parents should attend, and if you are married or in a civil partnership, only one parent need attend. If you are not married to baby's father and would like him included in the registration, he must attend the appointment with you.
